A house full of stories

1853! And ever since, the same grey and noble stones of the building and the same natural slates have been welcoming you in the heart of the Corrèze in a warm and authentic atmosphere.

The story

Since 1853, this inn has known multiple transformations but has always kept the same function. If its walls could talk, they would tell you of the post house, the coach and its horses, the exhausted travelers who took a break on the route Paris / Bayonne. Up until now, five generations of the same family have rivalled in know-how transmitted from one to another and have been guided, above all, by the pleasure to host and the love of the profession. Today, the values which have ensured the fame of this place remain unchanged as an unalterable truth which withstands the test of time. Audrey, the 6th generation and the 5th woman to run this place, keeps combining tradition, comfort, gourmandize and friendliness for the welfare of her guests who, themselves, are coming from generation to generation.

The Corrèze, a vast historical and natural heritage

In the heart of the Corrèze with its cultural tradition and its wide fishing area, Saint-Martin la Méanne is an ideal starting point to take advantage of the countless activities the region offers.

Your host

As the very image of Obelix, Audrey has fallen into the cauldron when she was little and has spent her childhood in this house beside her father. Then, she has acquired work experience on contact with those who, thanks to their know-how, turn a great business into a renown one. She enjoys telling and sharing family anecdotes, past memories and the life of this iconic inn. Not far away, her mother, Catherine, knows how to complete the story of this house by reviving the roots of the past.
